Hurricaine is a topical oral anesthetic formulated with 20% benzocaine to quickly and temporarily relieve oral pain. Indications include: minor dental procedures, minor gum injury, minor mouth irritation caused by dentures or orthodontic appliances, canker sores, sore throat and sore gums in teething children ages 4 months or older.
